I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, and I think the view through a lens is unlike any other. To see the world and the people in it, for all its beauty and imperfections- that is something that will never cease to amaze me.
I graduated from Samford University, where I majored in Religion and Philosophy, and I have a masters degree from LMU in School Counseling…but I always found myself coming back to people and photography. So, in 2009, I launched my business and have been shooting professionally ever since. By the end of 2016, I will have photographed 100 weddings and over 400 family sessions. I absolutely love to travel and have photographed in several different regions of the country. I appreciate the significant trust my clients place in me to document their most precious moments, and I strive to capture the emotion, honesty, and simplicity of what is in front of me by creating timeless photographs that my clients will treasure now and in years to come.
On a more personal note, I grew up in Knoxville, TN, and I married my high school sweetheart, Andy. We have three precious children (Ian, Hensley and Lucas) who are the joy of our lives.
